Kynslie's Easter basket

This Monday we went Easter shopping for little miss, I know I know we were cutting it a little close. :] I just love Holidays and if its even possible having a little one makes Holidays even more fun! I was telling Jubal just the other night, I love shopping for Kynslie even more then I love shopping for Him or even me! So in true Easter festivities here is Kynslie's first Easter basket.

Her Basket is packed full with goodies that we are into lately, so I'll break it down for all you mommies out there.

I started with a basket we actually got at Christmas, and just added some pink paper grass.

We are always looking for cute outfits and hit the jackpot when we popped into the Carter's Store{It was 50% off the whole store} So we picked up a few summer dresses and a few pairs of pjs. We are always searching for pjs! Miss Kynslie likes to sleep with her feet free and its a lot harder to find footless pjs in her size, so anytime we find some we snatch them up!

We recently started eating fruits and veggies and just couldn't resist these cute Minnie Mouse accessories. She loves Minnie Mouse anything so I'm sure these will be a big hit! We also picked up a pair of those mesh teethers, Kyns loves snacking on fresh fruit so these have become our new best friend!

Kynslie has found a new love for bath time. Now that she can sit up she loves to splash and put all of her bath toys in her mouth. So we picked up a pack of ocean bath time pals, and Jubal couldn't resist picking out a cute little mermaid that swims around the tub. We also of course picked up a couple Minnies. We got her another cute little Minnie teether and a Minnie Mouse bunny that smells like marshmallows! No joke it smells like dessert :]

No Easter basket would be complete without a few festive books! We picked up The Story of Easter so we can read it each year. We have a close personal relationship with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and are praying Kynslie will too. Staying true to our love of Disney we also picked up a Hoppy Clubhouse Easter.

I finished off Kynslie's basket with a pink ribbon and of course her name! I'm so excited to give it to her even though she's not really gonna understand:] I hope ya'll have a very Hoppy Easter!

Shower of Goodies for the Bride to be

So two weekends ago I hosted my Sister Jordan's Bridal Shower. I can't believe it, my little Sister is getting married!!!! I couldn't be more excited for her, I know she wanted to be married like three years ago ;] {no but really, we were all anxious for Trey to propose!} As Matron of Honor I of course was in charge of throwing the best Bridal Shower ever!! It was a tall order to fill, and I'll let ya'll in on a little secret. The shower was on Saturday, the Thursday before I was positive I'd never be ready to have the shower and was praying for it to be Sunday already so It would just be over...Ha. Me who has so much faith, was in a complete panic and so sure this shower would be a disaster! However I bucked up and got stuff done with a little help from the Maid of Honor {My youngest Sister Shaelee}, my mom and even the Bride helped decorate and fill the treat plates. So even though It was no cake walk, it all came together in the end and Jordan had a great time. Which is all that really mattered to me. So heres a few pictures from Jordan's Something Blue Bridal Shower.

We had so much fun and are super excited for her wedding! Its only two months away! eeeek :]

5 Months

This is way late {Again} considering Miss Kyns will be 6 months! WHAT....I know I'm having a hard time believing it too!

So this Last {FEW} month little Miss has mastered rolling over! She loves that she can do it and hardly stays on her back these days.

She also is a big fan of her Jump-a-roo! She loves to bounce and see the lights and hear the music.

Jubal works for Intel and they do this 'Great place to work' stuff which just basically means he won Coyotes tickets and we of coarse took kyns with us and had so much fun! We both really love just spending time with our little family.

This month Kyns started trying puréed fruits and veggies and has really enjoyed it. Some of her favorites are sweet potatoes, apples, and watermelon. She however is not a fan of carrots!

Some other special moments this month includes getting her ears pierced, making daddy a Valentines day card, and celebrating Auntie Shae's 12th birthday!
