{Soon to Be} Home Sweet Home

     As I typed my weekly update about my pregnancy I realized I talk a lot about the progress of our house but haven't really shared what kind of progress we are seeing or really anything other than there's progress. So today I'm gonna do a little update on our {Soon to Be} Home Sweet Home!

     Last Sunday, after church we headed out to our house to see what had gotten done that week. We found our whole house had lattice and was insulated! That meant they could drywall and then it was ready to be stuccoed! And sure enough all the drywall was inside just waiting for them to start.

     Then on Wednesday, we headed out to the house again hoping maybe they had made some progress, and imagine our surprise when we saw it was completely drywalled and almost completely done with stucco! Now its really starting to look like a house and we couldn't be more excited!

      We are so ready to be in our first home holding our baby girl! We're going to stop by the house again this weekend and hope to see even more progress! September starts tomorrow and we have big plans for this month! Moving and having a baby. Good things are headed our way and we continue to thank the Lord for blessing our family!

37 Weeks {Full Term}

Thats right you read that correctly, apparently 37 weeks is considered full term! {Who knew :] }

How far along: 37 Weeks

Total weight gain: 24 lbs.

Maternity clothes: Sometimes, usually only for church

Stretch marks: Still just the baby ones on my sides, and none on my belly!!

Sleep: Not so much :] The last three nights I've been up for a few hours around 3-6 AM!! On the plus side I get to see Jubal before he heads into work. {I'm always looking for positives!}

Best moment of the week: Well we found out I'm half a cm dilated {I know I know thats laughable :] but progress is progress at this point!}, our house is finally starting to look like a house and as you can tell from the picture above I've started packing!!

Miss anything: Being comfortable and not having to deal with acid throat!

Movement: Like crazy, you would think she wouldn't move as much cause the poor girl has less room but leave it to my child to prove that wrong! She has dance parties regularly!

Food cravings: Not really other than ice or if Jubal mentions chocolate covered almonds then I'm a goner.

Anything make you queasy or sick: Blood and gore

Gender: Girl

Labor signs: Plenty of contractions { I had like 28 yesterday!} there just not consistent.

Symptoms: Sore feet and back, acid throat like crazy, achy hips!!

Belly button in or out: In { I know I'm really shocked about that one too!}

Wedding rings on or off: On :]

Happy or moody most of the time: Happy, even with lack of sleep!{ How can I not be in two days it will be September and that means baby time!!Woo who}

Looking forward to: Meeting miss Kynslie, our house being finished, all the holidays with our little girl!

Baby Shower!

    So I know I'm super behind {I'm gonna be 36 weeks on Thursday!} but in all honesty our lives have been crazy busy lately! Between friends birthday get togethers and getting everything ready for Kynslie's arrival we haven't had a second of peace. However things have started to slow down a little for us, So I'm taking some time on this lovely Tuesday to get caught up. While Jubal Plays X-box :]

    Our {Well mine is probably more accurate ha!} baby shower was on the 11 and My mom and sisters did an amazing job! It was beautiful and I had such a good time catching up with friends and family. We, well Kynslie was showered with many blankets and some super cute outfits. The theme was very simple just black and pink with s few accents thrown in cause I keep changing my mind on what I want to do with her nursery, but I think I have finally made up my mind! I wanna do a simple pink and white polka dot theme with a little minnie mouse flare! I'm really excited and can't wait till we move in so I can get started. So here are some of the pictures of my baby shower.

 Here is the banner my mom made with Kynslie's name

 The snacks table with some of Kynslie's clothes on the wall

    Over all it was such a fabulous day and I feel incredible blessed to have such amazing friends and family! Thanks to all that came and celebrated with us! Thank you cards will be on the way!!

How far along: 34 weeks

Total weight gain: 18 lbs.

Sleep: Awful, but a least I'm still getting some!

Best moment of the week: Getting to see friends and family at the baby shower! It was so much fun!!

Miss anything: A lot of things! I was just saying to Jubal last night {I was very uncomfortable and feeling a little whiney ha} I cant wait to feel normal again!!

Movement: Yes and painful I might add, she loves to just push on me. I'm sure its just her stretching but she has some bony elbows and heals :] and they don't feel to great in my sides!

Cravings: Not so much this week, just ice really

Anything make you queasy or sick: Still just the sight or even mention of blood and guts{Eh I shutter even just typing it}

Wedding rings on or off: On, though they did get a little snug when I was out in the heat on Sunday

Jubal the funny man that he is decided to have an impromptu photo shoot this week so I'll share some of the silliness with you! {And I did say a few times stop ha, but because I was smiling and laughing he kept going!!}

-Just a little side note, all these shots were accompanied with a "work it, work it!" :]

Well really she was fine the whole time :] it was just me that was in pain!

Miss anything: Mostly sleep but I hear that's a rarity when you decided to have kids. So I'll be missing it for a while :]

Quality Time

   That is exactly what I got this past weekend! We had a few plans but nothing like our usual marathon weekends. I worked Friday night but only for an hour or so, and when I got home I started on dinner. It was a new recipe we were both excited to try. I've been following this awesome blog Jamie cooks it up and she has some of the easiest and most amazing looking dishes posted. So I tackled her pork chops recipe and I have to say It turned out absolutely wonderful!! We had dinner and then just relaxed on the couch. He played Xbox and I browsed Pinterest, it was nice.
   Saturday we slept in and just spend most of the day doing laundry and playing with the dogs. Around two we decided to go see our house and I'm happy to report they have all the AC done! After checking on the house we then went to check on mom. She had surgery on Wednesday for her carpal tunnel and ulnar nerve damage. She was doing much better this time around {She'd had it done on her right hand in May} and was even making cupcakes for the baby shower with some help from Shaelee. We stayed over there for a few hours talking and watching the Olympics then headed out before the huge storm that was building hit. We made it back to town for some dinner and more Olympics as it raged and just poured outside. After most of the storm had past we headed out again to a friends birthday get together. We got to see a lot of friends we haven't seen in a while and it was nice to just talk and catch up. We are all growing up its just crazy to think of all the new things we are each going to be experiencing this next year.
    Sunday dawns bright and early for us. Jubal is in charge of set up and tear down for our church so we are there from about 830-1230. Then we get some lunch and hang out for a little bit before we get ready for our community groups. Sundays are most definitely our busiest day of the week! We also got another mansoon storm which was nice considering it cooled down the 115 degree heat we have :]
   Monday yes monday was apart of our quality time weekend. Because with Jubal's new job he works a shift which is Wednesday thru Friday and every other Tuesday. So our Monday was spent getting him some work boots and stocking up on hand soap and sanitizer for when little miss Kynslie gets here.  Cause yes I'm gonna be one of those moms who insists you wash and sanitize before you hold our little girl :] Then we caught and afternoon showing of "The Batman Rises" and I have to say AMAZING! We both loved it and are totally convinced they will be making another one!! So we have decided that while we can still go see movies that Mondays are our Movie date days! It was so nice to not have to fight the crowds just to see a movie.
   Well tonight we are going to see the house again so I'll put some pictures up soon and tomorrow is my 33 weeks update! I'll leave you with a few pictures :]
