32 weeks

I know I know I'm a little behind :] This last week was a little hectic!! I worked three days we had a wedding and a birthday bash to attend, so I'm playing a little catch up! And here we go...

How far along: 32 weeks

Total weight gain: +15 lbs.

Maternity clothes: Just shorts and a couple of shirts..although I can still get into some of my non-maturnity shorts and most of my shirts!!

Stretch marks: none yet :] hoping to keep it that way!!

Sleep: awful, tossing and turning all night...unless I'm super tired then I wake up with a crick in my neck cause I didn't move :]

Best moment of the week: Seeing our house all framed! It makes it so much more real now that there are soon to be walls up and you can see all the rooms! We also had a blast at The Harvil's wedding and loved catching up with some friends we haven't seen in a while!! We had a busy week but it was fun!

Miss anything: Standing in the kitchen for more then five minutes before my feet start to hurt or just cooking dinner with out feeling like I've been standing all day!

Movement: Always...She is so active we will have our hands full for sure! I currently have a foot in my side :]

Food cravings: Sweets and burritos from Filiberto's I could have one every day!!

Anything make you queasy or sick: Just the blood thing and if someone else throws up or even mentions it I'm right there with them!!

Gender: Baby girl :]

Labor signs: Just Braxton Hicks contractions, nothing to painful just a little annoying.

Symptoms: Back pain as always, a little acid throat {as I like to call it}, and the newest addition aching ribs! Makes it super hard to get up by myself!

Belly button in or out: In still :] Just all flat and funny looking

Wedding rings on or off: On, and hoping they stay on! I get enough funny looks with out having people think I'm unmarried.

Happy or moody most of the time: Super happy and excited about everything to come!

Looking forward to: My baby shower and the house being finished! Then of coarse decorating her room and finally getting to hold our sweet girl!!

31 weeks

How far along: 31 weeks

Total weight gain: 15 lbs

Maternity clothes: Depends completely on how I'm feeling :] I wear a mix of both like yesterday I wore  maternity shorts with a t-shirt I got for New Years two years ago!

Stretch marks: Still none!

Sleep: Ha is a thing of the past! I was just telling Jubal I don't think I'll be sleeping through the night again for a very long time!

Best moment of the week: Was Saturdays trip to the Basha pool! We had so much fun even though I was working and it was nice to spend some time relaxing with Jubal! Cause I know things are gonna start to get crazy very soon!

Miss anything: The days when I didn't have back pain!

Movement: Always! The only time she is not moving is if she is sleeping otherwise she kicks, turns, grabs, jabs, just about anything you can think of she does on a daily basis! I know I should enjoy it cause I'm gonna miss it when she is here but sometimes she can really pack a punch! {Pun soooo intended :] }

Food craving: I recently discovered I am craving something but I unfortunately can't figure out what exactly it is ha!

Anything make you sick: just about anything dealing with blood or serious injury!

Gender: Girl

Labor signs: Not really, maybe a Braxton hicks contraction here or there but I'm not positive cause I've never been pregnant before :]

Symptoms: Still tons of back pain and I have recently discovered I have reached the nesting stage and I am driving both of us crazy cause I can't nest! The guy told us this week our house should be done end of August or beginning of September, so most of our baby stuff is packed and I can't really clean her room cause it doesn't even have actual walls yet! So the nesting thing is driving this soon to be mama nuts!!

Happy or moody most of the time: Happy

Looking forward to: My baby shower which is in a few weeks, then hopefully moving soon!! and of coarse the arrival of our sweet little girl!

Shopping, Swimming, and Storms!

  This weekend was full of summer fun! We spent it mostly just the two of us enjoying a little time together. Friday night we had a nice breakfast dinner at IHOP and did a little shopping for our Saturday pool day! While we were browsing for something to cover up my ever growing belly, we found the cutest little bloomers for miss Kynslie! They have a cute bow on the front with ruffled legs and a ruffled bum! They didn't seem to match anything close by but they were so cute we had to get them and I'll just have to find something for them to go with :] I think Jubal may have realized that he is in trouble because I have fallen in love with picking out cute outfits for her and I will probably just get worse when she finally gets here!!
 
   Saturday started bright and early at 8:30, which is early on a Saturday for Jubal! Its his only day to sleep in but he didn't seem to mind getting up with me. I had to head to work at 9:20 for an all day marathon with miss Emma! So what did I do.....Planned a pool day of coarse! And my lovely husband was so kind to brave the public pool scene with me! We had a group of four little girls and I was a little nervous at first. So Emma would have some play mates we invited my little sister Shaelee, her best friend Elizabeth, and Aprils daughter Alana. I was very concerned while they were running around to try all the fun water activities at Basha pool but praise the Lord for Jubal! He was as calm as could be and reminded me there were at least 10 life guards around the area watching just as closely as I could. So after only a few minutes I Started to calm down and just enjoy the cool water and the semi cloudy day. Everything went great and we only had a minor bee sting incident but over all it was actually kinda relaxing. I'm so glad to have Jubal cause it could have been a really stressful day for this soon to be mama if he hadn't been there to help me relax a little. He is going to be such a great dad and I'm so blessed to have him as my partner in all that is to come our way.
 
   After our fun in the sun we headed to Jonny Rockets for some burgers and fries. However we did not anticipate the HUGE storm that decided to hit us. It was raining so hard you could hardly see a foot in front of yourself! But I needed food!!! So we headed into the rain with our little umbrellas and made it with out getting too wet! Then we enjoyed a hot meal as we watched all the unsuspecting people come out of the movie theater. It was entertaining and Emma got to have her very first milkshake! So crazy storm aside it was a good lunch.
 
   The aftermath of our monsoon storm was crazy flooding everywhere! And only in Arizona can a flooded park turn into a community pool!! :] It was a nice relaxing weekend before things start to get hectic for the Tait family!!

30 weeks {10 Weeks to Go!}

How far along: 30 weeks

Total weight gain: 14+ lbs I hope :]

Maternity clothes: Shorts if I know its gonna be a long day out, and some shirts cause I have a few cute ones. But I can still fit in to a ton of my other shirts and a few of my shorts using the good old hair tie trick!

Stretch marks: none :]

Sleep: Yea......about that! This week I've had a hard time getting comfortable enough to fall asleep, so I have tossed and turn a ton!

Best moment of the week: We made the invitations for my baby shower and got those sent out! It was a lot of fun to hang out with my sisters and mom and I also made us dinner it was a great night! We also found out our house will start being framed on Tuesday and we are super excited!! Jubal also got to see Kynslie move my belly with her kicks, which have gotten a lot harder! We also bought our first little outfit for Kynslie! A cute little onesie that says "Daddy did my hair" We just loved it and had to grab it!

Miss anything: Being able to eat all my food with out feeling like I ate a whole turkey! If I eat to much I'm miserable for the rest of the night!!

Movement: Oh yes! She moves so much and her newest accomplishment is running her fingers along the side of my tummy. Sounds really cute right...Not its super painful and she always does it when I'm laying on my left side. I can't even count how many times I've jumped in pain :] but it will be so worth it when I get to see her sweet face!

Food craving: This week we have discovered I love chocolate! I had 3 chocolate cupcakes at our friends daughters first birthday and we are on our second pan of brownies!!

Anything make you queasy or sick: Just blood.

Gender: Sweet little girl!

Labor signs: A few Braxton Hicks contractions which I read is common once you hit 30 weeks but nothing to serious or anything that has me worried! She's not coming yet :]

Symptoms: Major back pain this week and my feet have been killing me! Ive been cleaning a lot this week and went back to work so I've been up on my feet more then normal. Of coarse I have baby brain  which rubs off on Jubal! So if you happen to be talking to us and your just like WHAT??? no worries we just have baby brain! :]

Wedding ring on or off: On

Happy or moody most of the time: Happy

Looking forward to: Moving!! I'm not so excited about packing and unpacking but I really can't wait to be in our house! Dressing our sweet little girl!!

29 Weeks

How far along: 29 weeks

Total weight gain: 14 lbs

Maternity clothes: Mostly shorts but there are still  a few pairs I can wear using the old hair tie trick. A few maternity shirts but also some of the longer shirts and tank tops I have in my closet. Most of my Maternity shirts I save for church cause they look really nice, and Its sooooo hot here!

Stretch marks: none

Sleep: Not to bad, I toss and turn a bit and was up at four Thursday morning. But I can't really complain {I hear its only gonna get worse :] }

Best moment of the week: We had a Doctors appointment and I gained another 4 pounds!! Woohoo, I know your like what?? But I haven't been gaining much weight and I just worry about this little girl! She's doing great thou I'd just feel better if I gained a little more! We also got signed up for a Child birthing class at the Hospital and that starts Aug. 14. And of coarse getting all registered for my baby shower!

Miss anything: Sleeping on my belly {ha ha}, and standing for more than five minutes with out getting uncomfortable. I definitely snapped at Jubal about that this week. :]

Movement: All the time! I read you should count how often they move twice a day and it should be at least 10 times an hour. Yeah she does that in 10 minutes!! She loves to kick and just recently learned how to kick in two different places at the same time. Her favorite however it just pushing up against me!

Food craving: Not really, although I really wanted a Chipotle burrito Wednesday night! But we forgot it was Fourth of July and they were closed at 8:30!! So I settled for a QT milkshake. But I admit I'm eating two brownies as I type this. :]


Anything make you queasy or sick: The sight of blood!! Its so strange cause it never use to bother me, I mean I wanted to be a nurse at one point!! But watching Band of Brothers with Jubal this last few weeks has really had me close to bolting to the bathroom.

Gender: Girl

Labor signs: None

Symptoms: Some minor back pain every now and then and boy do my feet kill me if it takes longer than five minutes to cook dinner or clean the dishes!! Oh and major baby brain also know as baby sucking on the brain but I thought that just sounded weird! So I renamed it baby brain and I have it bad ;]

Belly button in or out: In though it does look awfully funny, all flattened out.

Happy or moody most of the time: Happy

Looking forward to: Our house being done and slowly decorating it, my baby shower next month, making hair bows for our sweet girl, and of coarse getting closer to meeting our sweet girl!

Our Fourth Festivities

   Happy Thursday! I'd say happy Fourth but that was yesterday and seeing as we were so busy yesterday I hardly had time to sit let along type a few words on our Holiday adventures, Happy Thursday seemed fitting. So our Festive fourth was spent {Drum roll please.......} Registering for my Baby Shower!! And might I say it was quiet the experience. We started with Baby's R Us, which was super fun and really easy!! Jubal was in what I referred to as "The scanning zone". Most pregnant mama's wouldn't even bother dragging their Hubby's along to do baby registry, but Jubal was just as excited and into it as I was so we had fun with it! The service at Baby's R Us was awesome! Everyone was so helpful and we were constantly asked if we needed anything. My mom also tagged along and was super helpful on brands she had tried and things she really didn't use. Needless to say Jubal scanned over 200 items so there is plenty of variety for any future baby shower shoppers.
   However we also headed to Target and things quickly went down hill from there. Jubal again in charge of the scanning got frustrated and fast! It probably didn't help that he was hungry but his little scanner at Target wasn't as easy to use and frequently decided to stop scanning. Praise the Lord Targets baby section is much smaller then Baby's R Us or we might have had a Hulk situation on our hands ;]
   After a much needed Xbox session for Jubal we got ready and headed out to Queen Creek for some friends and fireworks. We also stopped to get some snacks for me after driving to Chipotle for a burrito only to remember as we saw the dark building that it wasn't Saturday and it was a holiday! I was super bumed and crazy pregnancy hormone's almost had me in tears but a QT milkshake fixed things and we were on our way. We put chairs in the back of Tyler's truck and drove in search of a spot on the side of the road near Schnepf Farms. We set up our chairs and munched on sweets as we watched their firework's display. Sadly it was pretty short and not that impressive, but we had a good time and even snapped a few pictures!
   In Thursday news, I am 29 weeks today which means only 11 weeks till D-day!{that if it wasn't obvious is what we are now referring to as the day Miss Kynslie will be arriving} and after reading this super cute blog Joy is at Home I have decided to do a weekly update as I get closer and closer to 40 weeks. She does this super cute thing with a chalk board, which sadly I won't be doing and has a list of common questions she answers each week. I loved seeing and reading about her progress and I don't even personally know her!? So I figured there might be someone out there who might enjoy reading about my progress. So after my doctors appointment today I will be doing a 29 weeks update and am super excited to see how it turns out!!
   So I was laying in bed wide awake at 4 this morning cause after getting up to head to the bathroom I just could not fall asleep! As I lay there I could not stop my mind from racing. Last week I felt went by so slowly, I was so excited for Thursday so we could leave for our camping trip. However this week has just flown right past me. I lay there wide awake stunned that it was already Thursday. Where has my week gone?? Everyone keeps telling me that the last few months of my pregnancy will just fly right by and every time I just laugh cause I feel like I've been waiting forever to get to this point. In January when we first found out and September seemed like a whole year away! But now that we are in July I feel like there is so much to do and I have some how let myself get so far behind schedule. I thought I had so much time left but the more I think about it the more I realize time is flying by and I better get in gear!! In 2 weeks Jubal will be starting his new job with Intel and we have a good friends wedding to attend, then two weeks after that is my baby shower and finally 3 weeks after that and we will be in September!! Where has this summer gone??
   And really not to complain because don't get me wrong our lives are incredibly blessed but this Saturday I start working again for the first time in a month and a half. Not only that but I will also be informing the family I nanny for that once we move I won't be able to watch their little girl anymore. Which if you couldn't tell I'm kind of dreading!! They have been awesome employers and I've loved watching their energetic five year old but the gas this one car household will be using makes working seem pointless. I'll just be paying for gas not really bring home any extra money.
   So now that I have completely unloaded on everyone :] I'd like to wish everyone a happy and safe Thursday! Hopefully now that I got this all down and out of my head I'll be able to catch a few more hours of sleep! I'll leave you with this shot of us last night after the fireworks!

{Over due Update}

I always start a blog and promise myself I'll stay up to date on our lives but the sad truth is I can never seem to manage it!! And I just know when our little girl arrives I'll have even less time to blog! But I'm gonna try {ha!} to keep up!! A lot has happened since the end of April especially seeing as its July now ;] lets see if I can remember everything.

To start I am now 29 weeks {on thursday} but still have just a little belly bump. Everyone keeps saying "Oh you'll get bigger" but I am 6 months and can still see my feet!! I think thats pretty awesome! I've had my glucose test and passed {Yay} however I found out I have low iron {Boo}! So one more vitamin I have to take but If Kynslie needs it I'm all for it!! I also had a little fainting scare and found out I'm not eating enough protein?! So now I'm eating twice as healthy as before and counting all kinds of grams for nutrition I need. I'm a little worried about weight gain considering I've only gained a whole 10 pounds! As long as Kynslie is growing enough though I guess I should be happy about having less weight to lose later. :] One of Kynslie's kidneys was larger than the other but after much pray and God's grace she is doing just great! So praise the Lord!!

Jubal and I were able to get away for a weekend to go to Benson and see some family. It was a much needed trip filled with relaxin and catching up. We also came home with a car full of baby gear!! However there is more to come. {which is a complete under statement!!} We brought home some essential things we'll need if Kynslie decides to come a little early.

This last weekend we spend Thursday thru Sunday in the woods camping with family! It was a nice break from the 112 degree weather we have in the valley. We played cards and watched my belly for Kynslie to kick. It was great to have nothing to do and have nice weather to do it in!! On our way home we realized we hadn't taken any pictures seeing as this will be our last trip with just the two of us to worry about. Next year I'll be chasing around a 10 month old. :]

I am happy to announce we have been taking pictures of our house as it progresses and we currently have a foundation and our in line to have all the framing done!! We are very excited cause this is our first home and we got to pick out everything for it and Jubal can't wait to not have to go up 4 flights of stairs. So the race is on whether the house is done first or Kynslie arrives! We're hoping our house will be done first but if Kynslie is anything like her daddy then who knows ;]
